David is the Managing Director of Johanssen & co. David is a versatile lawyer specialising in a range of legal areas including but not limited to contractual disputes, civil claims, debt recovery, family law and general litigation.

David also has comprehensive expertise in succession law (property inheritance) and provides legal advice and representation for contested Wills disputes as well as making applications to the Supreme Court of Western Australia for family Provision Act claims, Construction of Wills, Passing of Accounts, Grants of Probate and Letters of Administration. David also helps many of our client’s prepare for their future and settle their final wishes by drafting Wills, Enduring Powers of Attorney, Enduring Powers of Guardianship and Advanced Health Directives.

David is an experienced advocate having appeared in the Supreme Court, the District Court, the Family Court of WA and Magistrates Courts. David is a resilient and quick minded solicitor.

David has travelled broadly and speaks Japanese.
